CarePlus Child Health is a browser-based solution,
providing a complete range of functionality that fully
supports the Healthy Child Programme (HCP). This
flexible system can be controlled within a single trust
or over a number of trusts using a single database. It
can also be implemented as a stand-alone system, or
integrated with other CarePlus Primary Care products
which include Community and Mental Health.

McKesson CarePlus Child Health is a modular solution that fully supports the Healthy Child Programme for the core universal programme from birth to adult services, as well as supporting progressive services for those children deemed high at risk. All modules integrate seamlessly with each other, with data flowing freely between them to create a flexible, upgradeable system. The solution also achieves 100% compliance with the relevant sections of the Integrated Care Records Service Output Based Specification (ICRS OBS) Version 2, and supports the creation of a longitudinal record as required by the National Child Health Data Set.
The system has a full audit facility to allow managers to monitor activity and to identify any training issues.
