Rosters can be built without having managers repeatedly chase up staff and manually work out the right match between clinical demands and available skills. This can reduce the time spent building rosters from three days a month to as little as three hours.

 

Facilities such as shift swapping and self rostering allow staff to have a greater say in when they work, supporting initiatives such as 'Improving Working Lives'.  Rosters can be built to apply certain 'standing orders' which can ensure compliance with the EU Working Time Directive.   

 

The Time & Attendance module is driven by a powerful rules processor to support the complex pay structures and practices evident in the NHS.  Managers, supervisors and even employees can accurately log time and attendance using a variety of methods such as web timesheet entry, badge readers, web browser-based clocks or biometric readers.  This information is then fed back into ESR enabling increased payroll accuracy. 

 

Your organisation's specific HR and Payroll policies are also configured in the software for each employee group.  Supervisors are automatically alerted when an exception to the rule occurs, so any necessary action can be taken.
